About

A large hotel spa in the mountain resort of Gstaad, open to day guests. It offers a wide choice of saunas including salt, bio and infrared, a Kneipp path, a heated outdoor pool and a private sauna to hire; pool and saunas close between seasons.

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Bio sauna
    A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.
  • Steam bath
    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.

    Infrared heaters warm the body directly while the air stays cooler.
  • Salt or mineral sauna
    A sauna with salt or mineral walls or salty air to breathe.

Cooling down
