About

The spa of a large hotel in Gstaad, with mountain views and indoor and outdoor pools. The saunas are separate for women and men rather than mixed, there is a hammam, and a private spa with its own sauna can be booked; it opens for the winter and summer seasons.

Saunas and steam

    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Bio sauna
    A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.

    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.
  • Hammam (Turkish or Moroccan bath ritual)
    The traditional ritual in stages: warm rooms or a heated marble slab, a body scrub with a kessa glove and a soap-foam wash, then rest.
