About
A large sauna in a historic building in Zurich, with a garden near the forest. There are indoor and outdoor saunas, including a wood-fired one, a cold plunge and a Kneipp path, and Wednesday daytimes are for women only.

Saunas and steam
- Finnish sauna
The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
- Bio sauna
A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.
- Steam bath
Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.
- Outdoor sauna
A sauna in its own cabin or with a door straight to the open air, so you step outside to cool off.
- Wood-fired sauna
A sauna heated by a wood-burning stove, with a softer heat and the smell of wood smoke.
Cooling down
- Cold plunge (under 20 °C)
A small pool of cold water, below 20 °C, to dip into after the heat.
- Kneipp path
Walking barefoot through cold and warm water or over pebbles, after the method of Sebastian Kneipp.
Relaxing
- Indoor rest area
A quiet room with loungers to rest between sauna rounds.
- Outdoor rest area (garden or terrace)
A garden, terrace or lawn with loungers, to cool down and rest in the fresh air.
- Foot baths
Basins of warm, or hot and cold, water for your feet, often used between sauna rounds.
