About

A large spa in the mountain resort of Nendaz, open to day guests without booking. Alongside the saunas it has a heated outdoor pool, a flotation pool, salt and snow rooms, a steam bath and a Kneipp path, plus private spas to hire.

Facilities

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Bio sauna
    A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.
  • Steam bath
    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.

Cooling down

  • Cold plunge (under 20 °C)
    A small pool of cold water, below 20 °C, to dip into after the heat.
  • Snow room
    A cold room with snow or ice, below freezing, for a quick cool-down.
  • Kneipp path
    Walking barefoot through cold and warm water or over pebbles, after the method of Sebastian Kneipp.

Pools and baths

  • Floating bath
    Water so salty that you float without effort.
  • Whirlpool or jacuzzi
    A warm pool with jets of air and water bubbling around you, usually for several people.
  • Outdoor pool (heated year round)
    An outdoor pool heated enough to use in winter too.
  • Water massage (jets and neck showers)
    Underwater jets and strong streams of water that massage your neck, back or feet.

Relaxing

    A quiet room with loungers to rest between sauna rounds.
  • Salt or brine inhalation room
    A room with salt walls or salty air, for breathing and resting.
  • Outdoor rest area (garden or terrace)
    A garden, terrace or lawn with loungers, to cool down and rest in the fresh air.
