The Tor da Lenn at the Valbella Resort is a five-floor wellness tower with saunas, steam bath, Kneipp basin and a rooftop panorama sauna and cold plunge. Textile-free from 16; outside guests buy a CHF 120 day-spa ticket with massage and a meal.

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Steam bath
    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.

Cooling down

  • Cold plunge (under 20 °C)
    A small pool of cold water, below 20 °C, to dip into after the heat.
  • Kneipp path
    Walking barefoot through cold and warm water or over pebbles, after the method of Sebastian Kneipp.
  • Ice plunge (12 °C and colder)
    A small pool of very cold water, 12 °C or colder, for a short dip after the heat.
