About

A small day spa for adults (18+) in central Fribourg, limited to about 30 guests at a time. Two steam rooms, three saunas, a whirlpool and a cold plunge; the hottest sauna is nude-only and hosts Aufguss sessions. Booking ahead is advised.

Facilities

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Steam bath
    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.
  • Aufguss (sauna ritual)
    A sauna master pours scented water on the hot stones and fans the heat through the room.

Cooling down

  • Cold plunge (under 20 °C)
    A small pool of cold water, below 20 °C, to dip into after the heat.
  • Cold bucket shower or waterfall
    A gush of cold water from above, or a bucket you tip over yourself.

Pools and baths

  • Whirlpool or jacuzzi
    A warm pool with jets of air and water bubbling around you, usually for several people.

Relaxing

  • Indoor rest area
    A quiet room with loungers to rest between sauna rounds.
