About

A winter pop-up at the historic Bains de la Motta open-air baths in Fribourg, with saunas in Mongolian yurts. There are cold plunges, a hot Nordic bath with a view of the cathedral, a campfire and a FINTA day.

Saunas and steam

    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Outdoor sauna
    A sauna in its own cabin or with a door straight to the open air, so you step outside to cool off.

Cooling down

    A small pool of cold water, below 20 °C, to dip into after the heat.

    A pool or tub of very warm water, 38 °C or more, often outdoors and sometimes heated with wood.
