About

A public swimming pool with a sauna area in the mountain village of Sedrun. Alongside the pools and water slides there are an outdoor sauna, Aufguss sessions, a hot pool and a Kneipp path, plus women-only days twice a month.

Facilities

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Bio sauna
    A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.
  • Outdoor sauna
    A sauna in its own cabin or with a door straight to the open air, so you step outside to cool off.
  • Aufguss (sauna ritual)
    A sauna master pours scented water on the hot stones and fans the heat through the room.

Cooling down

  • Kneipp path
    Walking barefoot through cold and warm water or over pebbles, after the method of Sebastian Kneipp.

Pools and baths

  • Hot pool (38 °C and more)
    A pool or tub of very warm water, 38 °C or more, often outdoors and sometimes heated with wood.
  • Indoor pool
    An indoor pool to relax or swim in.
  • Pool for swimming lengths
    A pool with lanes, usually 25 or 50 m long, indoors or outdoors.
  • Water massage (jets and neck showers)
    Underwater jets and strong streams of water that massage your neck, back or feet.
  • Bubble loungers
    Loungers under the water surface with bubbles rising from below.
  • Water slides
    Slides that end in a pool.

Relaxing

    A quiet room with loungers to rest between sauna rounds.
