The 4670 m² spa of the Suvretta House above St. Moritz, with a 25 m indoor pool, a heated outdoor infinity pool, several saunas, a steam bath, a cold pool and a separate ladies' sauna area. Outside guests only by request with a day-spa package from CHF 250.

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Bio sauna
    A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.
  • Steam bath
    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.
  • Infrared sauna
    Infrared heaters warm the body directly while the air stays cooler.
  • Aufguss (sauna ritual)
    A sauna master pours scented water on the hot stones and fans the heat through the room.

Cooling down

  • Cold plunge (under 20 °C)
    A small pool of cold water, below 20 °C, to dip into after the heat.
  • Rain and mood showers
    Warm showers with changing temperature, light, scent or rain patterns.
  • Kneipp path
    Walking barefoot through cold and warm water or over pebbles, after the method of Sebastian Kneipp.
