About

A wood-fired outdoor sauna on the shore of Lake Geneva in Vevey, where you cool off with a dip straight in the lake. There are Aufguss sessions, free tea, lake views and a women-only day each week, and booking is required.

Facilities

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Outdoor sauna
    A sauna in its own cabin or with a door straight to the open air, so you step outside to cool off.
  • Aufguss (sauna ritual)
    A sauna master pours scented water on the hot stones and fans the heat through the room.
  • Wood-fired sauna
    A sauna heated by a wood-burning stove, with a softer heat and the smell of wood smoke.

Cooling down

  • Direct access to a lake or river
    Step straight from the sauna into a lake or river to cool off.

Relaxing

  • Indoor rest area
    A quiet room with loungers to rest between sauna rounds.
  • Outdoor rest area (garden or terrace)
    A garden, terrace or lawn with loungers, to cool down and rest in the fresh air.
