About
A city hammam and sauna in central Zürich built around the Turkish bathing ritual: warm stone, steam, then a scrub with a kese glove and olive-oil soap. There is also a Finnish sauna, cold plunge and Kneipp path, tea in the rest room and a women-only day.

The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
- Steam bath
Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.
- Hammam (Turkish or Moroccan bath ritual)
The traditional ritual in stages: warm rooms or a heated marble slab, a body scrub with a kessa glove and a soap-foam wash, then rest.
Cooling down
- Cold plunge (under 20 °C)
A small pool of cold water, below 20 °C, to dip into after the heat.
- Cold bucket shower or waterfall
A gush of cold water from above, or a bucket you tip over yourself.
- Rain and mood showers
Warm showers with changing temperature, light, scent or rain patterns.
- Kneipp path
Walking barefoot through cold and warm water or over pebbles, after the method of Sebastian Kneipp.
