Municipal sauna centre next to the Leonding outdoor pool: Finnish saunas inside and in the open-air yard, a mild sauna, steam bath, tepidarium, whirlpool and Kneipp basins. Textile-free; Thursday is women's day; closed June to August.

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Bio sauna
    A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.
  • Steam bath
    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.
  • Infrared sauna
    Infrared heaters warm the body directly while the air stays cooler.
  • Outdoor sauna
    A sauna in its own cabin or with a door straight to the open air, so you step outside to cool off.
  • Aufguss (sauna ritual)
    A sauna master pours scented water on the hot stones and fans the heat through the room.

Cooling down

    A small pool of cold water, below 20 °C, to dip into after the heat.
