The public brine bath of Bad Aussee, joined to a hotel, with six saunas and steam rooms, a cold plunge, a warm outdoor brine pool and a salt grotto. Ladies' sauna on Wednesdays; sauna costs a supplement on the bath ticket.

    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Bio sauna
    A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.
  • Steam bath
    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.

    Infrared heaters warm the body directly while the air stays cooler.
  • Aufguss (sauna ritual)
    A sauna master pours scented water on the hot stones and fans the heat through the room.
