About

Luxury hotel in Sölden in the Ötztal. Its 2,000 m² spa, for hotel guests only, has a rooftop infinity pool, a textile-free sauna area from age 14 with nine saunas and steam baths, an ice grotto and a cold plunge.

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Bio sauna
    A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.
  • Steam bath
    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.

    Infrared heaters warm the body directly while the air stays cooler.
  • Aufguss (sauna ritual)
    A sauna master pours scented water on the hot stones and fans the heat through the room.
