About

Wellness hotel in Serfaus with a 3,000 m² spa for hotel guests only. The sauna world, from age 15, has twelve saunas and steam baths including a tepidarium and an Ottoman-style salt steam bath, daily Aufguss, an ice fountain and an indoor pool.

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Bio sauna
    A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.
  • Steam bath
    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.
  • Aufguss (sauna ritual)
    A sauna master pours scented water on the hot stones and fans the heat through the room.
  • Hammam (Turkish or Moroccan bath ritual)
    The traditional ritual in stages: warm rooms or a heated marble slab, a body scrub with a kessa glove and a soap-foam wash, then rest.
  • Roman-Irish bath
    A bathing ritual that leads through a series of warm and hot air and steam rooms and pools, often with a soap-brush massage, and ends with rest.
