Vienna's large competition pool next to the Stadthalle, with a sauna area on two floors: two Finnish saunas, bio and salt sauna, herbal room, steam baths, cold and warm plunge pools. Women's mornings Tue/Thu, men's Wed/Fri, mixed the rest.

Saunas and steam

  • Finnish sauna
    The classic dry sauna, usually 80–100 °C.
  • Bio sauna
    A gentler sauna of about 50–60 °C with more humidity, also called sanarium.
  • Steam bath
    Around 45 °C with nearly 100 % humidity.
  • Salt or mineral sauna
    A sauna with salt or mineral walls or salty air to breathe.

Cooling down

  • Cold plunge (under 20 °C)
    A small pool of cold water, below 20 °C, to dip into after the heat.
  • Kneipp path
    Walking barefoot through cold and warm water or over pebbles, after the method of Sebastian Kneipp.
